A style guide provides useful guidance on employing your visual identity system (logo, colors, fonts) in various contexts as business needs grow and change.

Print matter designs feature logo, physical address, phone number, website URL, and/or email address.

Deliverables are digital; client handles printing.

SINGLE-PAGE STATIC SITE

One page, five sections
HTML/CSS/JavaScript (no blog/CMS/server-side code)
Client provides all copy and photography

A single-page site acts as a digital "brochure" for your business or service.

Instructions are provided, but domain and hosting are client's responsibility.

PRICE: $3,500. 50% nonrefundable deposit ($1,750).

3. HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Within a single business day of contacting me, I will email you an onboarding form (to be completed before work starts) to assess client tastes and needs.

ONBOARDING AND DEPOSIT

Initial contact and onboarding form
Design brief and contract sent to client to sign
Work begins on payment of (nonrefundable) deposit

Within three business days of finishing my onboarding form, I will send you the contract, design brief, and instructions for payment of (nonrefundable) deposit.

DEVELOPMENT AND FEEDBACK

Logo design (three phases, two rounds of feedback)
Design of print matter and style guide
Design of website (copy/images provided by client)

I like to give clients one week per phase of design for consideration and feedback.

The entire process generally takes eight weeks (but may vary slightly).

DELIVERABLES

Logo: PDF, SVG, PNG
Print matter: PDF
Website: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

All files will be delivered in .ZIP format via email or other agreed-upon (digital) delivery method.

I do not provide deliverables via physical media.

4. OPTIONAL MONTHLY RETAINER

I also offer a monthly retainer package as an add-on for existing clients to help maintain their visual identity across various brand touchpoints.

SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS

Up to four (4) social media graphics per month
Will adhere to existing style guide
Copy and photography provided by client

Each social media graphic will come with multiple versions that should work for all major platforms. Posting graphics is client's responsibility.

BROCHURES, PERIODICALS, ETC.

Up to two (2) pages of printed content per month
Will adhere to existing style guide
Copy and photography provided by client

One "page" of content is equivalent to one side of a single 8.5 x 11" sheet of standard printing paper. A brochure can be made by folding into two, three, etc.

WEBMASTER

Up to four (4) small modifications or one new page
Will adhere to existing style guide
Copy and photography provided by client

"Small modifications" include: a new section, content change, or updated contact info. A "new" page is made up of five sections of client-generated content.

PRICE: $750/month, prepaid.

TURNAROUND: Varies depending on service rendered.

5. CONTENT CREATION AND CURATION OPTION

For a fee, I will write copy and provide photography for the client. The fee varies depending on whether it's for a Visual Identity System or Monthly Retainer.

VISUAL IDENTITY C&C

Copy of up to 1,000 words per webpage
Up to 500 words per webpage section
Up to four high-quality stock photos

($1,500) I write all copy and source most photography for your website. Most projects, however, will still require a picture of you and I can't source that.

MONTHLY RETAINER C&C

Short blurbs (<250 characters) per minor project
Full copy (under 1,000 words) per major project
Up to four stock photos per major project

($750/mo.) A "minor project" includes social media posts and similar short-form content. A "major project" includes new webpages, print brochures, and the like.

PRICE (VISUAL IDENTITY SYSTEM): add $1,500 to total.

PRICE (MONTHLY RETAINER): add $750 to total.
